There's always something going on to raise awareness, from toy drives to the annual Festival of Trees in Methuen where we decorate a beautiful tree in Nick's name.
Nicholas DeFelice was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer, at the age of three years old. Nicholas passed away at the age of nine on June 26, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Our non profit foundation Super Nick Forever 9, Inc. was established in Nicholas' memory to financially assist families fighting cancer along with hockey scholarships as well. We have helped several families and given out several hockey scholarships through our foundation.
Nicholas was a fun, happy energetic and caring little boy who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He never let anything get in his way. Always laughing and smiling and having a good time for himself!
He loved sports, he played hockey and baseball for his community and he loved fishing with his friends. He was also a big fan of the Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots. And he also loved his music and of course his iPad.
Lake Winnipesaukee and the beach were his favorite places to go in the summer time. An innocent boy who was taken too soon from us, he will forever be loved and missed as he has touched so many lives all over the world.
